Day sailing trips are popular - and with good reason. Many of our nearby islands are park preserves, abundant with flowers and the many species of colorful birds for which we are world famous. The beaches that can be reached by these trips are some of the most unspoiled in the world. 

The Nearby Beach

Friendship Bay beach is a three minutes walk from your door. Play in the gentle waters and lunch or snack at the beachside restaurant. Enjoy a cool, refreshing tropical drink at the bar.

Snorkel, windsurf, comb the beach for shells or just relax with a favorite book. Watch the sailboats come and go in the bay. See local fishermen return with their catch. If you need some shade, just drag your beachchair under the sheltering palms.
